Varandasi is right... We, tourists, are spoiling a bit the spirit of BA's milongas. Nevertheless, it is important to go there.
Not only because the level of dancing is good, not only because the music selection is excellent, not only because you get in touch with the soul of Buenos Aires and with the Portenos... To me, the most important thing is to open yourself to the essence of the dance: the connection with your partner, the connection with the music, the connection with the other people on the dance floor.
You want to be part of it, to be in harmony with it. You want to understand and possibly experience what is "milonguear bien"... and it's a lot different from "bailar bien". For all those reason and for hundreds of other you want to go there. But, please, come to BA with respect for the city, for its people, for the dance floor and for the other dancers on the dance floor.
